Panama City Beach Concerts, Music Festivals & Parades

From outdoor parades celebrating special events to open air music festivals featuring world famous bands to local artists playing at a beachfront restaurant, Panama City Beach offers a year-round calendar of live music and entertainment the whole family will enjoy. Music lovers can take their pick of country music, rock and roll, smooth jazz or zydeco with the destination’s action-packed lineup of music festivals including the PCB Mardi Gras & Music Festival, alternative rock SandJam Music FestivalSeabreeze Jazz Festival and the destination’s beloved country music festival Pepsi Gulf Coast Jam. Visitors and locals can also gather for Panama City Beach’s free summer concert series at the destination’s newest and most manicured park, Aaron Bessant Park, taking place every Thursday night June through August. 

Families and friends love bringing their blankets or lawn chairs and relaxing under the stars as they listen to great performances. Guests will also enjoy the variety of special event and holiday-themed parades that take place throughout Panama City Beach all year long such as the pirate parade at Pier Park for the Pirates of the High Seas Fest and the Jeep Beach Jam parade on the destination’s sugar-white sands.

Panama City Beach Holiday Events

Panama City Beach gives families the chance to create new holiday traditions or relive their favorite memories in the destination with a year-round calendar of fun and festive holiday events. The destination begins every new year with its annual New Year’s Eve Beach Ball Drop, featuring a countdown, fireworks, live music and 10,000 inflatable beach balls being released from nets over Pier Park. In addition, Panama City Beach’s  popular Beach Home for the Holiday taking place over Thanksgiving weekend waves goodbye to fall and sets the stage for the most magical time of the year with carol-themed concerts, campfires and s’mores, an appearance by Santa, holiday entertainment, lighting of the Christmas Tree, live music, fireworks and more. 

Also not-to-be-missed, the PCB Mardi Gras & Music Festival takes place the weekend before Fat Tuesday, featuring a beach parade and entertainment for the whole family. The destination’s Real. Fun. Fourth. independence day celebration features the largest display of fireworks on the Gulf Coast, in addition to live music, dining, shopping and a Veterans Memorial Ceremony on July 4. Finally, Panama City Beach Oktoberfest celebrates all things German for two days of locally brewed beer, food, music and kid’s activities with massive tents at Aaron Bessant Park decorated like the Oktoberfest tent in Munich.
